That philosophy started when Dr. Daniel Engels led the very first Wal-Mart RFID project and has carried through to the World's largest deployment of passive RFID ODIN executed on behalf of the US Department of Defense.

Our clients understand that ODIN makes RFID easy so they can focus on the business value not the tags, readers, or physics. We don't make tags, readers, or middleware but we do have a stable of the best experts in the space who know exactly what is right for our clients.

Since 2002 ODIN was:

Airbus LogoWinner of the RFID Journal's Best RFID Deployment Award in 2008 beating more than 100 other entrants in the process, the award winning work was done exclusively by ODIN technologies. After a 12 month tender process and exhaustive search Airbus chose ODIN for a five year multi-million dollar exclusive partnership to design, select, install and maintain all of the RFID infrastructure. Currently there are 12 active projects at Airbus from passive UHF to WiFi based RTLS doing everything from tool-tracking to work-in-process tracking of sheet metal. ODIN has had to work seamlessly with Airbus partners such as Accenture, IBM, OAT systems and others who may provide business process consulting, software or data support.

Colgate-Palmolive was the first company to ship Gen 2 EPC tags to Wal-Mart, thanks to ODIN technologies. In 2003, Colgate selected ODIN as their RFID partner to comply with Wal-Mart's initial mandate. After intial compliance, ODIN led Colgate's migration to Gen 2 creating a very low-cost alternative to stay within Wal-Mart's RFID guidelines. Colgate has been shipping ever since with near 100% read rates thanks to the physics-based solution designed by ODIN.

The United States Marine Corps' war doctrine is based on speed, agility and maneuverability. This driving philosophy extends to their logistics as well. ODIN technologies was the first company to outfit the USMC's Marine Expeditionary Force (MEF) with a complete passive RFID infrastructure. The Marines required a complete turn-key solution which included readers, handhelds, printers, portals and software which allows them to focus on fighting wars, and providing value to soldiers in theater.
