Airbus industries completed an exhaustive search for an exclusive RFID integration partner in 2006-07. After nearly a year long process they chose ODIN technologies and ODIN provided Airbus with an Industry-leading innovation. As a result, Airbus was recognized as the 2008 Best RFID Implementation Award Winner at RFID Journal Live in April 2008. Challenges: Reduce costs, eliminate labor costs, increase Work In Process accuracy and visibility, cut inventory. Result: Airbus projects have been a huge success. The company was able on saving as much as 30% in labor costs, and reducing inventories up to 18% on specified projects. One WIP tracking process alone eliminated 10 million manually bar codes annually.
DePuy is a leading provider of joint replacement to surgeons world-wide. The internal RFID team at Johnson and Johnson suggested DePuy contact ODIN technologies to help solve a particular inventory issue. The result DePuy was nominated for a 2008 best RFID Deployment at RFID Journal Live and demonstrated an ROI in under 10 months. Challenge: DePuy was working in a reactive mode, sending out more than 600 kits daily to surgeons to use for joint replacement surgery. They were manually scanning all the contents of each kit as it entered and exited the facility. This could take from 10 to 30 minutes per kit, so it was very labor intensive. Result: ODIN technologies developed a complete solution from custom hardware to integrated software, which met their business needs. The result was taking the process down to under a minute giving a 12 times productivity improvement. ODIN also provides 24x7 remote monitoring and support via the EasyMonitorTM suite.

The story of Thomasville began in Thomasville, North Carolina, in 1904. At the time, they offered just one product – a chair. The “Thomasville Chair” it was called.
